Enzo Emir

Software Engineering — University of Brasília

Back-end and computer vision systems.

Test automation intern at ASI Company and a member of the computer vision team at EDRA UnB, where I develop perception for autonomous drones. In my own projects, I build full-stack applications with a back-end focus.

Available for internship and junior positions

Projects

Summary, stack, and the engineering decisions behind each one.

IDB Jovem & Teen

01

Stack

  • React
  • Vite
  • Tailwind CSS
  • Leaflet
  • FastAPI
  • PostgreSQL
  • SQLAlchemy
  • OAuth2

Engineering

  • In production, delivered for a real client
  • FastAPI backend with OAuth2 authentication
  • Google Calendar, Drive and Forms integrations
  • Interactive map with Leaflet
  • Address geocoding with Nominatim
  • PostgreSQL with the SQLAlchemy ORM

PriceTeller

02

Price comparison tool for PC components and full build planning, with search, filtering and sorting resolved server-side.

Stack

  • FastAPI
  • SQLModel
  • SQLAlchemy 2.0
  • Pydantic 2
  • SQLite
  • Next.js 16
  • React 19
  • TypeScript
  • Tailwind CSS 4
  • GitHub Actions

Engineering

  • Layered architecture: routes / services / models
  • Input schemas kept distinct from read schemas
  • Search, filtering and pagination resolved in SQL
  • Single query for lowest price, avoiding N+1
  • API key on write routes, CORS validated at boot
  • Per-IP rate limiting and URL sanitisation against XSS
  • 67 tests with pytest and httpx TestClient
  • CI on GitHub Actions with Semgrep and Gitleaks

EDRA: Percepção Visual para Drones Autônomos

03

Visual perception system for autonomous drones, with the EDRA UnB competition team: sensory data extraction for real-time navigation and decision-making.

Stack

  • Python
  • OpenCV
  • YOLO
  • Raspberry Pi

Engineering

  • Target identification via colour and shape segmentation in OpenCV
  • Training and optimisation of YOLO models for real-time use
  • Embedded processing on constrained hardware (Raspberry Pi)
  • Optimisation aimed at holding the frame rate the flight requires
Closed source — internal repository of the competition team

Micromouse

04

Autonomous robot that maps and solves 4x4 and 8x8 mazes with no human intervention; the layout and starting corner are only revealed on competition day.

Stack

  • C++
  • ESP-IDF
  • ESP32
  • FastAPI
  • React
  • Python

Engineering

  • Acted as project manager, firmware developer and control-software developer
  • Flood-fill mapping, then a fast run along the shortest known path
  • Sensor fusion across ToF units, an MPU9250 IMU and PCNT-read encoders
  • Real-time firmware on ESP-IDF, embedded on an ESP32
  • Wi-Fi telemetry to a FastAPI backend and a React interface
  • Only team to complete all three mazes of the challenge
